Sandra Brown Bitter Sweet Rain.

This review is long overdue really overdue I read this book two years ago as to why I never blogged about it sooner honestly its just one of those things I meant to do but didn't. I really love this book & although its not very long it was entertaining. Let me just say that after reading 50 shades of Grey I never thought I would like another book on that special level you know the way you feel when you read a good book excited and you laugh a lot & giggle like a fool in love yep that's me don't act like you don't do it to. My first impression of this book was not very good I was like yeah ok this book is so predictable its like a lifetime movie oh & don't get me started on lifetime movies because they are not predictable they are super good but I can sometimes predict whatS going to happen after all I've been watching lifetime since I was 14 So predicting a Lifetime movie its a gift lol. Speaking of lifetime did anyone see the premiere of  Damaged starring Chris Klein yes you know him the same way I know him from American Pie LOL. I remember thinking when I was a teen that he was so handsome & his name is soo cool. However now I think he's a little less handsome but his name is still cool. Damaged was one of those movies where you don't see it coming it really had a surprise twist I thought I knew what was going on but in the end I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. So yes I thought that it was like a typical daytime woman's movie you know the kind they show in the daytime I tried to read it about three times on my third attempt I finally got somewhere I kept reading past the fourth page and was glad I did I began to enjoy the book more and more especially in the end. Let me slam the brakes lets go back to the beginning oh yess the sexual tension between step mother & step son was enticing  oh it was hot really hot but all that aside there was a humbleness of the lead females character one that most or at least some of us can relate to being poor or simply not being rich feeling like your less than wanting to be with the cool sometimes older very hot rich boy at school who would never even acknowledge your existence so yeah a lot of what I would call human element at work here I sometimes felt that I was reading about the writers own experiences & desires which happens with most writers simply put I would recommend this book to anyone I give it hold on let me go get the book and give it a quick review so I can rate it accurately. Well hmm let me see I hope anyone reading appreciates what I had to go through to get this book things were falling out of my book case every which way, so yes I reviewed it again and the only parts of the book I enjoyed was Caroline & Rink's romance Yeah um I dont want to get anyone's hopes up but ill give it a humble 7 & a 1/2 out of 10 ok I wish I could give every book I enjoy/enjoyed a ten so I change my mind I give it a 10 yes a full 10. Nice story nice ending so nice that I was heartbroken  that there wasn't a part two to this story & though I enjoyed this book immensely I couldn't bring myself to buy anymore books by this author I found to many similarities between the novels & on that note I think this novel is a gem among her other novels.  How I came across this novel.  I was at the book store I had just finished reading fifty shades of grey at xmas time it was now Easter which means Easter book sale I was lost I didn't know what the hell I should get & there was this very nice black lady who was so helpful she actually bought like 10 books I was a little surprised and happy to see all at the same time somehow we got to talking and she introduced me to Sandra brown Christine Feehan & Christina Dodd she told me that they were really good authors that they have really nice books and so on and recommended that I get this & another novel that I will write about very soon hopefully. I found this lady to be so nice and I could relate to her so well I wanted to ask for some type of contact info like idk her cell no that might have been a bit to personal lmao or maybe to be fb friends idk that might have ended weird she was just so cool & friendly but I didn't want to look/seem like a freak or have her think I was a lesbo eeekk not that there's anything wrong with that but if one is not one certainly doesn't want to seem as if one is & thanks to that lady those authors are now my favorite authors especially Christine Feehan. I was so taken with one of her novels that it inspired me to do my very first blog about a book of hers. Oh my wasn't planning on this blog to be so long I'm so tired & just want to say if you did read my blog then thanks for stopping by feel free to share your thoughts and if you know of any really good books either horror paranormal or romance or both then definitely do let me know below in the comment section I'm always interested in a good book so till next time good bye & good read. ........LOL.

DARK PRINCE by Christine Feehan.

Dark Prince is the first paranormal romance I have ever read. I love horror movies and horror stories however I was always hesitant to buy a book in the genre of paranormal romance /horror purely because I was sceptical on how interesting it would be. I didn't want to end up wasting my money which has happened to me before on three occasions. I had bought six horror novels  all of which ended up being a compete waste of money it was deathly boring slow dred and utterly frustrating. I had sworn to myself  I would never waste my money ever again until last year when I was feeling a little daring and decided to give it a chance once more  this time luckily I didn't have much options to choose from most of the books were sold out because there was a sale which I showed up to last minute I almost didn't make it.  I saw Dark Prince read the synopsis it sounded ok kinda typical I don't know to me I read other books and they all have a certain tone in the synopsis they all sound kind of similar but I bought it anyway.  Knowing how much I love scary stuff period I decided to read Dark prince first I didn't make it past the first two pages at all. So after  3 attempts  I ended up reading what I thought would be a light relaxing sexy romantic novel it was Christina Dodd A Well Pleasured Lady wow that was not at all what it was summed up to be what was I thinking however good things come to those who wait and here begins the story of a Magical Book affair.


Dark Prince is the best paranormal romance I have ever read Highly entertaining charming magical feral hot sexy interesting  it appeals to all five senses vivid captivating and last but not least ENCHANTING.   I could not put this book down I read it in one week and I loved every minute of it. It was suprising when I thought some parts were predictable I was wrong and I loved it hahaha its true it happens you sometimes think you know whats gonna happen well usually im right this time I was wrong and it was completely satisfying  and electric.  Romance from the beginning YES THANK YOU. Sighs of relief unlike A well Pleasured Lady which from the title one would expect the story to have a lot of romance and be erotic it was far from it was a Proper disappointment.  

Did you ever like a book so much that you could actually picture yourself in the story, you wish you could just dive into the story if only it were real well.! That has never happened to me before until reading Dark Prince.  The characters were well portrayed Dark mysterious unique and so very enticing and sexy    On a personal note if I was Raven one of the lead characters lets just say me and all the other male carpathians would have been personally very well accuainteed  yeah Its true the book has cast such a spell on me it has me talking crazy. I highly recommend this book if you Love romance and horrors. 
  This is what my book looks like it says on the back it has an additional 100 extra  pages so probably the story was shorter.! I do not know. But if its true then thank you for a hundred  pages of pure extra magic. I plan to buy the other books in the Dark series this coincidentally and luckily is the first in the series if your confused and wondering which book is part two to  this simply go to amazon and problem solved.

This book kind of reminded me of the Ps1  video game Castlevania  who could forget that game it was pure electric magic it draws you In like a magnet. In the game Alucard the vampire could shape shift turn into a wolf and mist/fog and even make himself invincible just like in and some of the scenes described in Dark Prince although I have to admit that for a book it had quite a huge impact on my imagination the scenes from the book so nature like detailed expressive tactile you get what im trying to say.  I would recommend anyone and  I mean anyone to read this book even if you don't usually indulge in the paranormal books then give it a try atleast for the romance which is mind blowing that brings to mind the scene in the mountains where Raven and Mikhail get together and WOW it was amazing. The ending where Raven learns to fly and they all fly together another favourite scene to sweet. One of the characters I really really liked in the book was Gregori I really warmed up to him to I skipped part two and three and went straight for book four which is basically about him I wont say to much since im not finished reading it yet when I am done I will write a review about that.  If anyone has read this book share your thoughts let me know what was you favourite part of  Dark Prince and who's your favourite character. Remember don't take my word for it expect nothing of this book just keep an open mind that way you wont be disappointed if it somehow didn't live up to your expectations. 
  I love all the characters in this order Mikhail, Gregori, Raven,Jacques,Aiden,Tienn,byron. and all the others I cant really remember them all off hand LOL but I do Love them all.
This book is simply perfect all I can say is thank you Christine feehan for The Pure Fiery magic that is Dark Prince.
